While CPTUI helps solve the problem of creating custom post types, displaying the data gleaned from them can be a whole new challenge–which is why we decided to take it one step further and created Custom Post Type UI Extended.

Not sure what a Post Type is? A post type is the way that WordPress stores and separates data in the database. Pages and posts are both post types in WordPress, and you can extend beyond that to create more specific post types according to your site’s needs.

For example, you can create post types that organize data for your products, employees, clients, and more. Creating a custom post type allows you to section that data off from the standard pages and posts, which makes it easier to control, organize, and display the way that works best for you.
